Satron V Series Differential Pressure Transmitter Line

The V series transmitters for all applications of differential pressure measurementsDiffrentialm Pressure Transmitters.

The V series transmitters are for all applications of pressure measurements. The V series transmitters are suitable for the most demanding process environments and they cover all pressure ranges required in the industry. The excellent temperature behavior, many housing alternatives and the possibility to own user interface are common features for the series V transmitters. With Satron-pAdvisor software and HART -modem it is possible to communicate with transmitters. You can calibrate, configure and diagnose the transmitters easily using Satron-pAdvisor software or using your own HART calibrator. For V series transmitters the wetted materials can be chosen from the wide range of options.

Optional Installation with PASVE ball valve

PASVE® is a ball-type mounting & service valve for SATRON VG type level and pressure transmitters. Reliable, safe, excellent mounting and service valve. PASVE ® makes it simple to disconnect the transmitter from the process without stopping the process. The valve is opened and closed with a rotating movement of the ball. The sensor is not pushed into the process against the pressure or possible process media. It eliminates the risk of the sensitive sensor tip getting broken when the sensor is connected to the process and allows reliable and durable special seals. Various design solutions, materials, actuators, limit switches and process connection options enable the suitability of PASVE ® pH to almost all industrial processes.

NOTE
Recommended Transmitter Mounting Instructions:
  • Steam should not be admitted to the transmitter’s sensing element.
  • In outdoor installations you should make sure that water condensed from e.g. a steam line will not freeze and, by expanding, damage the transmitter’s sensor diaphragm. For instance, this can be avoided by installing heat insulation up to the sensor diaphragm.

SATRON VDU.Satron VDU

SATRON VDU differential pressure transmitter is 2-W transmitter and is used from 0-1.4 kPa(0.2 psi) to 0-3 MPa(435 psi) ranges. In pressure measuring applications SATRON VDU diff. pressure transmitters are used for measuring the pressure of clean, sedimenting, crystallizing and sticking materials. The transmitter's sensor is piezoresistive. The rangeability is 25:1. The transmitter communicates digitally using the HART® protocol.

SATRON VDtL.Satron VDtL

SATRON VDtL is used for 1.4 kPa(0.2 psi)...3 MPa(435 psi) ranges. The transmitter communicates in a 2-wire system. In pressure measuring applications SATRON VDtL transmitters are used for liquid level, pipeline pressure and density measurements. SATRON VDtL transmitter is equipped with an SOS (Silicon On Sapphire) sensing element. The rangeability is 25:1. The transmitter communicates digitally using the HART® protocol.

SATRON VDt.Satron VDt

SATRON VDt is used for 0-0.1kPa(0.015psi)...0-15 MPa(2,175psi) ranges. The transmitter communicates in a 2-wire system. In pressure measuring applications SATRON VDt transmitters are used for measuring differential pressure and vacuum pressure. SATRON VDt transmitter is equipped with an SOS (Silicon On Sapphire) or piezoresistive sensing element. The rangeability is 25:1. The transmitter communicates digitally using the HART® protocol.

Zero and Span adjustment:

  • Zero elevation: Calibrated span is freely selectable on the specified range depending from the desired
    option. This can be made by using extern control shafts, keyboard (display option), HART®275/375 communicator.

Damping:

  • Time constant is continuously adjustable 0.01 to 60 s.

Temperature limits:

  • Process: -30 to +125 °C (-22F-257F), DIN 16288
    -20 to +200 °C (-4F-390F), DIN 3852-X
  • Shipping and storage: -50 to +80 °C (-40F-180F).
  • Operating temperature of display:
    0 to +50ºC (32F-120F) (does not affect operation of the transmitter)
